The Enterprise Business Intelligence Engineer Manager is part of the Enterprise Data Services (EDS) team and collaborates across Firm Technology Services to identify improvement opportunities and provide guidance, best practices, and support for reports, analytics, and analytical applications. This role focuses on making data available in a secure, scalable, and high‑performing manner to support the technical, operational, and business needs of Forvis Mazars.
The Enterprise Business Intelligence Engineer Manager oversees the design, development, and maintenance of data solutions that enable timely and accurate business insights. This includes applying systems and business analysis techniques and collaborating with end users to define data and functional requirements. Additionally, this role contributes to the development of workflows that enhance efficiency across the firm.
EDS is recognized as the team trusted to handle the firm's most complex Information Management needs. We analyze, design, and develop enterprise data and information architecture deliverables, emphasizing data as a strategic business asset.
What You Will Do:- Partner with team members to understand both the business and technical challenges EDS aims to solve.
- Maintain an enterprise‑wide perspective when designing, developing, and implementing solutions.
- Provide oversight, coaching, and direction to business intelligence engineers.
- Deliver regular BI team status reporting.
- Provide ongoing feedback and contribute to annual performance reviews for BI engineers.
- Lead the creation and publication of reporting and analytics best practices.
- Lead the definition of business intelligence architecture.
- Serve as the Reporting and Analytics Data Center of Excellence (COE) representative.
- Assist with scoping reporting and analytics initiatives, including defining objectives, requirements, and expected outcomes.
- Promote enterprise standards, guidelines, and best practices for reporting, analytics, and analytical applications.
- Support business lines in designing reporting and analytics architectures that meet their needs, including semantic model development.
- Assist business partners in optimizing reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Act as a liaison between business lines and the Data Engineering and Data Governance COEs.
- Communicate with clients to ensure effective development of reports and business intelligence solutions.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support workflow development.
- Implement process improvements to reduce development time and support long‑term strategic planning initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in reporting and analytics
- 3+ years of experience with Fabric / Power BI architecture
- Hands‑on experience developing Fabric / Power BI semantic models
- Experience gathering requirements for reporting and analytics
- SQL proficiency
- Strong analytical and solution‑design skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with cross‑functional stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with Product Management, Project Management, and business stakeholders
- Knowledge of semantic data concepts
- Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging reporting and analytics technologies
- Ability to follow and contribute to Forvis Mazars' enterprise and data architecture principles and guidelines
- Experience with Databricks is a plus
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of experience in reporting and analytics

Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085)Pursuant to Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range displayed is for the Colorado market. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit‑sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. Forvis Mazars reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
