Worldwide Specialist Solutions Architect - Streaming, Data & AI GTM

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA). As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who face complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. They craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. This may involve guiding customers as they refactor applications or designing entirely new cloud-based systems.

• Represent the voice of the customer; bring customer feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap.
• Provide advanced technical knowledge to your domain‑aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
• Act as a thought leader, sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public‑speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:
  
  Invent, etc.
• Partner with Business Development teams to define the technical components of best‑in‑class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 3+ years of specific technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

• Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
