Manager, PEPI - Software & Tech M&A (Open to all US locations)

A&M is a global consulting firm with over 10,000 professionals. Our Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice serves upper middle market and large cap private equity firms to improve portfolio company performance.

• Lead software product and technology due diligence assessments for private equity clients, including pre‑acquisition, sell‑side, and post‑acquisition engagements.
• Develop data request lists, conduct detailed analysis, and produce client‑ready deliverables.
• Present findings to portfolio company executives and deal teams; supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Participate in day‑to‑day relationships with bankers and client stakeholders.

• 5–8 years of consulting or relevant tech industry experience, with expertise in software/tech products.
• Experience with private equity deal workflow or software/tech due diligence preferred.
• Strong communication skills; ability to produce executive‑level written materials.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related analytical field.
• Flexibility to travel up to 75% of the time.
