Compensation Overview

What Is the Opportunity?As a Gen AI Data Engineer II, you will design and maintain scalable solutions that support our Generative AI initiatives, working closely with data scientists, machine‑learning engineers, and software developers to deliver data‑driven applications.
What Will You Do?- Design, develop, and deploy solutions for Gen AI data engineering activities, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and analysis.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to create Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and integrate LLM models into production‑grade applications.
- Develop APIs and microservices to facilitate data access and integration across components of the Gen AI platform.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Stay current with emerging data engineering and Gen AI technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
Master’s preferred. - Preferred six years of programming/development experience.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role focused on data engineering and Gen AI.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with front‑end frameworks (e.g., React.js) and back‑end frameworks.
- Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, Redshift).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
- Strong grasp of database systems and data processing frameworks (SQL, No
SQL, Spark, Databricks). - Knowledge of Gen AI concepts such as Agentic Frameworks, RAG, LLM, Chunking, and hyper‑parameters.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field.
- At least 4 additional years of data engineering experience.
