Job Title:
Service Now Technical Architect / Lead Role Summary
Provide technical leadership for Service Now platform design, custom development, and enterprise integrations while ensuring governance, scalability, and security best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Service Now solution architecture, platform strategy, and roadmap execution
- Provide technical guidance to development teams on platform capabilities, custom development, and integrations
- Oversee custom applications, workflows, APIs, and third‑party integrations using Integration Hub
- Lead design sessions for automation and integrations using Flow Designer and Orchestration
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks, security standards, and compliance requirements
- Conduct architectural reviews, platform audits, and health checks
- Drive continuous improvements for performance, scalability, and security
- Mentor and coach junior developers and technical team members
- 15+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands‑on Service Now experience
- Proven delivery of large‑scale Service Now implementations across multiple modules
- Strong experience in Service Now SPM, PPM, and App Engine custom development
- Deep knowledge of Service Now architecture, data models, security, and best practices
- Expertise in scripting, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and integrations
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Service Now CSA, CAD, and CIS (SPM/PPM) certifications preferred
- Experience with ITIL, Dev Ops, AWS, or Azure
- Hands‑on experience with Now Experience Framework and UI Builder
- Integration experience with Salesforce, SAP, or Oracle
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
