The Power
BI designs, builds, and supports Power BI reporting and analytics solutions for Finance and business stakeholders. This role translates complex financial data into accurate, secure, and high-performing dashboards and reports, partnering closely with Finance, IT, and data teams.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets
- Translate business and financial requirements into scalable BI solutions
- Build and optimize data models, DAX measures, and SQL queries
- Integrate data from ERP and financial systems into Power BI
- Ensure data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and testing
- Implement security, governance, and performance best practices (including RLS)
- Manage report deployment, refresh schedules, and ongoing maintenance
- Provide end-user support, documentation, and training
- Collaborate with IT and vendors on system upgrades and integrations
- Mentor junior analysts and promote BI standards and best practices
- 5–8 years of BI, reporting, or analytics experience (Finance-focused preferred)
- Strong Power BI and DAX experience
- Advanced SQL and relational database experience
- Experience working with financial or accounting data
- Large ERP experience preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
