Field Deployment Lead

Ekin Smart City Technology has over 300 employees and active deployments in more than 50 countries. We deliver intelligent smart-infrastructure systems for government and public-sector partners, with a strong focus on reliable field execution and scalable national deployments. Our solutions include traffic management platforms, enforcement systems, and sensor-based infrastructure serving municipalities and law enforcement agencies worldwide.

The Field Deployment Lead handles on-site installation, configuration, and servicing of Ekin hardware and electronic equipment across U.S. customer sites. This is a hands‑on, field-based role that combines technical execution with project coordination and client communication. You will install and mount hardware, handle wiring and cabling, run diagnostics, configure systems using provided software applications, and keep deployments on schedule. Training on Ekin-specific systems will be provided.

The position offers long‑term growth into senior leadership and scaled deployment operations.

• High school diploma
• 2+ years of project coordination or project management experience
• 2+ years of field installation/deployment experience
• Knowledge of low‑voltage systems, cabling, and IP‑based systems
• Strong familiarity with MS Office and project tools
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
• Experience supervising technicians
• Spanish or Turkish language skills are a plus
• U.S. citizen with valid driver’s license
• Valid passport (or ability to obtain within 6 weeks)
• Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to travel nationwide (~50%)

• Install and commission cameras, sensors, poles, and edge systems at customer sites
• Perform mounting, wiring, cabling, and network setup
• Conduct site surveys and ensure system readiness
• Run diagnostics, test and validate deployments
• Troubleshoot field issues and perform maintenance/upgrades
• Support deployment planning and scheduling
• Manage on‑site execution and ensure projects remain on schedule
• Maintain deployment documentation and track deliverables
• Coordinate with engineering, product, and operations teams
• Support SOP development and scalable deployment processes
• Contribute to training and onboarding materials for field teams
• Represent Ekin professionally at customer sites
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance during deployments
