Position Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Mid-Level PMO Project Manager with experience supporting Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes to manage cross-functional technology initiatives within a structured governance framework. This role will operate within the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring projects align with enterprise architecture standards, risk controls, compliance requirements, and strategic business objectives.

The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years of project management experience, strong governance discipline, and hands-on experience preparing, facilitating, and tracking ARB reviews and approvals.

Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Governance
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation through closure.
  • Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, RAID logs, financial tracking, and status reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards, SDLC methodology, and governance controls.
  • Facilitate stage-gate approvals and executive reporting.
Architecture Review Board (ARB) Coordination
  • Prepare and submit ARB documentation, including solution designs, impact assessments, and architecture diagrams.
  • Coordinate with Enterprise Architects, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to ensure solution alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Track ARB feedback, required remediation items, and approval milestones.
  • Ensure technical decisions meet security, compliance, data governance, and integration standards.
  • Maintain documentation of architecture decisions and dependencies.
  • Partner with business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and architects to ensure project alignment.
  • Identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to resolve technical and operational conflicts.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership.
  • Track project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocations.
  • Ensure vendor deliverables align with contractual and architectural expectations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in project management within a PMO environment.
  • Direct experience supporting or presenting to an Architecture Review Board (ARB).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and system integration concepts.
  • Experience working within structured SDLC or Agile/Hybrid delivery models.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops, MS Project, Smartsheet).
  • Strong documentation and executive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CAPM, or PMI-ACP certification.
  • Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, retail, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with security review processes and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with ERP or large-scale enterprise system implementations.
