Job Summary

As an AI QA Automation Manager at Impiricus, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, secure, and reliable software products across all teams and platforms, with a strong emphasis on AI-enabled quality assurance and automation strategies
. You will lead and develop a team of QA engineers, guiding both manual and automated testing efforts while advancing our automation maturity through the use of AI tools, intelligent test generation, and modern automation frameworks
.

In close collaboration with product managers, developers, data teams, and executive leadership, you will define and drive the overall quality strategy, standardize QA practices, and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, coverage, and speed within our Agile environment. Your leadership will strengthen our testing lifecycle, embed AI-assisted quality practices, and foster a culture where quality is owned across the organization—directly contributing to innovation, compliance, and exceptional user experiences across Impiricus products.

Duties & Responsibilities
Testing & People Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA Engineers across manual, automation, and AI-assisted testing disciplines.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, career development guidance, and formal reviews.
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations for team members.
  • Manage team capacity, workload distribution, and delivery timelines.
  • Review and approve detailed test plans, test cases, and automation scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects through resolution, partnering closely with engineering teams.
Process Ownership & Quality Strategy
  • Establish, document, and maintain QA standards, guidelines, and best practices across teams.
  • Drive proactive Quality Advocacy
    , embedding quality thinking early in the SDLC.
  • Oversee test planning, execution, and coverage for new features, integrations, and releases.
  • Ensure consistency and readiness of test documentation, traceability, and reporting.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and expansion of AI-enabled automation frameworks

  • Leverage AI tools and technologies to:
    Generate and optimize test cases
    Improve test coverage and defect detection
    Reduce manual testing effort and maintenance overhead
    Identify and prioritize automation and AI testing candidates across products and platforms.
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Track and report on automation effectiveness, coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Education & Experience
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
    , preferably in health tech, SaaS, or regulated industries.
  • At least 3 years of people management experience
    , leading and developing QA or technical teams.
