System Analyst

Overview

Our client is seeking a technically strong Systems Analyst to support their data and integrations environment. This role is designed for a highly analytical professional who can operate comfortably in complex technical ecosystems while effectively partnering with business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL and data analysis capabilities, along with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

This position is not intended for a traditional software developer or data engineer. Instead, the client is looking for a hands-on systems analyst who can diagnose issues, troubleshoot data workflows, monitor system behavior, and collaborate closely with internal teams to maintain and improve data operations.

• Serve as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, translating functional needs into technical understanding
• Bridge communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and monitor data pipelines, integrations, and system processes
• Perform detailed data analysis to identify inconsistencies, anomalies, and root causes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve data or system issues
• Rapidly develop expertise in interconnected systems, workflows, and integrations
• Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for operational improvements
• Support technical initiatives through coordination, issue tracking, and dependency management

• Proven background in a Systems Analyst or similar technical/analytical role
• Strong ability to communicate with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• Advanced SQL skills and meaningful data analysis experience
• Demonstrated troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working with complex systems, integrations, or data workflows
• Proactive approach with solid technical project coordination capabilities
• Strong triage and investigative skills within technical environments

• Familiarity with PL/SQL (beneficial but not required)
• Experience working within modern analytics or data platforms
• Exposure to tools such as DBT

  , and/or Anomalo
• Experience working within AWS-based environments
