Deployment Engineer

As the Microsoft Dynamics Deployment Engineer, you will own the end to end deployment lifecycle for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. You will serve as the final checkpoint before production, ensuring that every release is secure, compliant, repeatable, and aligned with enterprise governance.

In this role, you will manage Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines, orchestrate release activities, and partner closely with development, QA, and operations teams. You will support integrations, environment configurations, and platform level improvements while helping internal teams better understand and leverage the broader Dynamics ecosystem. Your work will directly enhance system stability, deployment quality, and organizational confidence in the release process.

• Own and manage Azure Dev Ops release pipelines for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Execute production deployments, including scheduled releases, hotfixes, and emergency changes.
• Promote solutions across UAT, hotfix, and production using controlled, repeatable deployment practices.
• Validate release readiness, including solution packages, approvals, and rollback plans.
• Design, maintain, and optimize Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines, variables, service connections, and approvals.
• Deploy Dynamics 365 and Power Platform components, including apps, flows, Dataverse updates, and environment variables.
• Manage environment configurations, connection references, secrets, and identity requirements for deployments.
• Enforce change management processes and partner with QA, UAT, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure compliant, high quality releases.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and drive automation and process improvements.
• Maintain standards, deployment runbooks, and release documentation.

• 3–5+ years of experience in release engineering, deployment engineering, or Dev Ops.
• Hands on expertise with Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines

• Experience deploying Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions into production environments.
• Strong experience with Power Platform ALM and solution based deployments.
• Familiarity with Power Platform Build Tools
  , solution packaging, and release governance.
• Experience managing production environments, change windows, and deployment approvals.
• Preferred:
  Advanced Power Platform experience (Dataverse, Power Automate, environment strategies).
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of Azure identity (service principals, Entra ) and integration with enterprise change tools.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non technical teams.
