Overview
Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Conversion Delivery Lead for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.
Responsibilities- Analyze data extracts/data dumps
- Perform source-to-target data mapping for migration
- Document data definitions, transformations, validation rules, and exceptions
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and cleansing requirements
- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve data issues
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams
- Participate in design reviews, migration planning, and cutover activities
- Create and maintain detailed documentation (mapping specs, data dictionaries, workflows)
- Support unit testing, system testing, and UAT for data migration
- Validate migrated data for completeness, accuracy, and integrity
- Assist in reconciliation reports and post-conversion validation
- Support mock conversions and final production cutover
- Strong experience with data analysis and data mapping for system migrations
- Hands-on experience working with data dumps (CSV, flat files, SQL extracts)
- Working knowledge of APIs (REST, JSON, XML)
- Experience with SQL for data analysis and validation
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data transformation logic
- Experience with digital banking platforms preferred
- Understanding of core banking data (customers, accounts, transactions, entitlements)
- Knowledge of online/mobile banking features (bill pay, transfers, alerts, authentication)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors
