Salesforce Technical Architect; FSL

Salesforce Technical Architect (FSL) – Atlanta, GA (onsite) – 12+ months Contract

Summary:

Client is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect with hands-on experience to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions for our client. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong client interaction skills, and the ability to drive strategic platform decisions within complex enterprise environments.

• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand service operations, business needs, and technical requirements
• Architect scalable and robust Salesforce FSL solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards
• Lead the end-to-end design of Salesforce applications including service territories, work rules, scheduling policies, and mobile workforce setup
• Integrate Salesforce FSL with third-party systems (e.g., ERP, IoT platforms, legacy systems) using APIs, Mulesoft, or middleware
• Guide development teams on best practices, coding standards, and Salesforce development methodologies
• Conduct architecture reviews and technical walkthroughs
• Own the solution blueprint, data model, and technical documentation
• Ensure system scalability, performance, and security compliance as per enterprise standards
• Provide technical leadership during UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support
• Collaborate with Salesforce COE and cross-functional teams
• Mentor and guide junior developers and technical leads

• 10+ years of experience in the Salesforce platform
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL)
• Expertise in FSL components: service territories, work types, service resources, scheduling policies, dispatcher console, mobile configuration
• Experience in Salesforce Lightning, Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and integration patterns
• Knowledge of industrial field service domain is a strong plus
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data model, and multitenant architecture
• Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and IoT platforms is a plus
• Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification preferred
• Salesforce Field Service Consultant certification is a plus
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
