Over 13,600 enterprise customers, including over 85 of the Fortune 100 and nearly 70% of the Global 500, rely on Cohesity to strengthen their resilience while providing Gen AI insights into their vast amounts of data. Formed from the combination of Cohesity with Veritas’ enterprise data protection business, the company’s solutions secure and protect data on-premises, in the cloud, and at the edge.

Backed by NVIDIA, IBM, HPE, Cisco, AWS, Google Cloud, and others, Cohesity is headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, with offices around the globe.

We’ve been named a Leader by multiple analyst firms and have been globally recognized for Innovation, Product Strength, and Simplicity in Design, and our culture.

Want to join the leader in AI-powered data security?

The Cohesity Design team is on a mission to bring a modern, cohesive experience to how organizations manage, protect, and use their data. Our close‑knit team of UX designers, visual designers, and UX researchers partners deeply with Product Management and Engineering to solve complex challenges in data management, security, and AI through simple, powerful experiences.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will be a hands‑on, end‑to‑end product designer who owns key areas of the Cohesity experience, working from our Bangalore office. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional partners and customers world‑wide to define problems, explore solutions, and ship high‑impact experiences that make complex, data‑rich workflows feel intuitive and efficient.

We are a collaborative, craft‑driven team that cares deeply about our users and the quality of the experiences we ship. We value curiosity, systems thinking, and a bias toward action—designers who are excited to untangle complex enterprise problems, partner closely with PM and Engineering, and use research, data, and AI tools to continually raise the bar for our product.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
  • Partner with PM, Engineering, and UX Research to deeply understand user needs, workflows, and pain points in complex enterprise domains in order to define clear problem statements and opportunities for your product area.
  • Design end‑to‑end user journeys, flows, wireframes, and interaction models to deliver cohesive, intuitive experiences across web‑based data management workflows.
  • Create high‑fidelity UI designs, prototypes, and detailed specs in Figma to ensure smooth implementation and a consistently high quality bar across states and edge cases.
  • Use research methods such as usability tests, concept validation, and heuristic reviews to validate ideas, refine designs, and confidently iterate post‑launch based on evidence.
  • Contribute to and extend our design systems and patterns to maintain visual and interaction consistency, improve accessibility, and accelerate product delivery across teams.
  • Leverage analytics, customer feedback, and AI‑powered tools to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline your workflows, and inform design decisions with data.
  • Lead design reviews and provide thoughtful feedback to peers and partners to build shared understanding, alignment, and stronger outcomes across product teams.
WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING
  • 6-10 years of experience designing and successfully shipping complex, data‑rich web or enterprise applications that improve productivity and usability for target users.
  • Degree (or higher) in Interaction Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Industrial Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A strong portfolio that showcases end‑to‑end UX work—from research and problem framing through exploration, interaction design, visual design, and shipped impact.
  • Strong skills in interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles, with experience applying them in agile or iterative product development environments.
  • Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, including components, variants, prototyping, and design systems.
  • Experience planning and collaborating on user research and usability testing, and turning insights into actionable design decisions.
