CTG is seeking a Senior Ansible Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for enterprise platforms. This role emphasizes Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP/Tower) expertise, platform engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve availability, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, collections, and execution environments
- Build standardized automation frameworks for provisioning, configuration management, patching, and lifecycle management
- Enable governed self-service automation with strong controls and approvals
- Apply SRE principles to improve system reliability, MTTR, and observability
- Support SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets through integrated automation
- Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP/Tower)
- Platform engineering and enterprise automation frameworks
- SRE and reliability engineering principles
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Hands‑on experience designing and supporting Ansible automation in large-scale environments
- Proven track record with configuration management, provisioning, and lifecycle automation
- Familiarity with observability integration and reliability metrics
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
