Senior Ansible Automation Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA

CTG is seeking a Senior Ansible Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for enterprise platforms. This role emphasizes Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP/Tower) expertise, platform engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve availability, resiliency, and operational efficiency.

• Develop and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, collections, and execution environments
• Build standardized automation frameworks for provisioning, configuration management, patching, and lifecycle management
• Enable governed self-service automation with strong controls and approvals
• Apply SRE principles to improve system reliability, MTTR, and observability
• Support SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets through integrated automation

• Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP/Tower)
• Platform engineering and enterprise automation frameworks
• SRE and reliability engineering principles
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Hands‑on experience designing and supporting Ansible automation in large-scale environments
• Proven track record with configuration management, provisioning, and lifecycle automation
• Familiarity with observability integration and reliability metrics

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
