The Program Governance Analyst is responsible for governance within large-scale IT projects/programs, initially focused on the Shadow IT program. Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams, governance oversight, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Proactive and detailed-oriented, the ideal candidate will engage with stakeholders to conduct interviews, facilitate workshops, deliver training sessions, and create comprehensive program documentation driving adoption of policies, standards, and control frameworks.

This position is office-centric 5 days a week in one of the following offices. (Atlanta/GA, Charlotte/NC, Raleigh/NC, Richmond/VA or Wilson/NC.)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Demonstrates exemplary planning and organizational skills, ensuring all aspects of the program are thoroughly coordinated and successfully executed.

2. Facilitates collaboration between technology and business teams to ensure alignment of program goals, streamline communication, and drives successful delivery of initiatives that support organizational objectives.

3. Implements and optimizes an appropriate risk management plan for the program, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, standards, and control frameworks.

4. Proactively evaluates the performance of current systems and processes, identifies and develops solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

5. Identifies data issues and works with technology, risk, and business partners to triage, track, communicate, mitigate and remediate the issues to closure.

6. Supports the production of metrics and comprehensive executive reports to track progress and adherence, escalating as needed to various committees for visibility, program accountability, and communication of the overall health and status of the program.

7. Understands and integrates relevant regulations and industry trends into work plans, exploring emerging frameworks, championing, and driving improvement in enterprise technology practices throughout the organization.

8. Ensures program activities are aligned and progressing to achieve the targeted benefits realization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in related field and 8 years of experience in roles with increasing responsibilities in technology, data management, governance, risk or related practice or equivalent education and related training or experience

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other graduate or advanced-level certification

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

3. Large program strategic planning/execution across multiple functions

4. Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills

5. History of effective performance within shared service, matrix or federated environments

6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

7.

Experience with data analysis, visualization, and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint)

8. Self-driven professional with the ability to drive their work inventory and escalate as required
