What Your New Challenge Will Look Like
The Solutions Architect will be the main point of contact between the client and the consulting team. You will be involved in leading the requirements gathering sessions, developing a solid design, and working with the client to deliver a smooth implementation. You will be involved with recommending the most appropriate technology for the client based on your expertise.
- Provide creative solutions to complex business problems while maintaining best practices.
- Support the services sales opportunities as the solution and technical leader working with the Account Executives and Client Partners.
- Work with Account Executives and Client Partners to articulate the value of Maestro (Rapid Response) and be able to discuss our implementation methodology/approach.
- Assist in scoping of prospective engagements, developing proposals, planning, logistics, and the execution of project management processes.
- Lead deployment workshops to help clients achieve immediate value from their investment.
- Facilitate business process design and development that leverages Maestro (Rapid Response) capabilities.
- Resolve complex data and analytic configurations to ensure that the solution is producing the expected results.
- Configure the Maestro (Rapid Response) interface according to clients’ distinct needs as defined within the Agile user stories and blueprint designs.
- Work with our clients to develop a roadmap to solve multiple supply‑chain problems leveraging the power of Maestro (Rapid Response).
- Advise clients on key architectural decisions concerning the Maestro (Rapid Response) platform and supporting technologies.
- Evaluate risks related to requirements management, business process definition, testing processes, internal controls, project communications, training, and organizational change management.
- Produce technical architectures, develop system requirements, identify resources, and estimate timelines for project completion.
- Develop client‑ready materials related to requirement specification, process analysis, system‑based and manual controls, functional design, and test plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, supply chain management, or other relevant degree; or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive experience leading development teams in complex supply‑chain solution design, development, and testing.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in business software consulting and/or manufacturing and demand/supply management.
- 5+ years of experience working as a Maestro (Rapid Response) Solution Architect.
- 5+ years of experience with functional knowledge in supply chain, demand or supply planning, S&OP, after‑sales service operations, or transportation management.
- 5+ years of experience developing, supporting, or implementing Kinaxis Maestro (Rapid Response) required.
- Experience in engaging and negotiating with C‑level stakeholders.
- Detailed knowledge of functional supply chain solutions such as ERP/MRP, Sales and Operations Planning, Demand Planning, Aggregated Supply Planning, Order Fulfilment, Capacity Planning, Inventory Management, and managing planning activities with distributors and contract manufacturers.
- SAP ECC/APO implementation experience or other major ERP implementations such as Oracle.
- Kinaxis Maestro (Rapid Response) integration experience with enterprise level applications such as ERP.
- Understanding of the solution development life cycle, including business requirements definition, review of functional specifications, development of test plans, testing, user training, and deployment.
- Experience working with relational databases and JavaScript.
- Experience in systems integration and ETL tools, data mapping, and systems integration a plus.
- Lean Manufacturing training/experience.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Kinaxis Maestro (Rapid Response) certification in the role of Solution Architect Level 2.
- Agile Scrum Master and/or Product Owner training/experience.
