Overview:
We are seeking a contract resource to enhance Information Governance within our programs by operationalizing requirements and RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) frameworks into existing project processes. This role will focus on improving scalable decision-making, implementation activities and measurement of Information Governance frameworks. Focus areas will include third-party data sharing and data inventories/cataloging, with an emphasis on guest data.
At a high-level, you’ll:
· Partner with Business Governance Teams in our hybrid and cross-functional governance model to ensure value and practicality of Information Governance to support Business
· Partner with Security and Privacy on Data Protection roles/responsibilities/process/goals
· Partner with Technology and Product teams on implementation of key practices in Software Design, Development and Deployment in support of IG
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
1. Governance Operationalization:
o Integrate RACI and information governance requirements into current project processes, including the Assessment Process (PSIA/AI) and Tech Collaboration to achieve more scalable governance
o This will require you to understand our existing Information Governance Frameworks, research existing processes, collaborate with stakeholders, provide recommendations for the integration points, and influence change with impacted teams as required
o Final Deliverables:
1. Agreed upon and implemented process
2. Accompanying process flow with summarized and descriptive steps artifact, that can be shared, followed and used as ongoing education
3. Updated RACI
4. Educated key stakeholders
Areas of Focus:
In the areas of focus, you can expect there will need to be materials that are developed to gain agreement on the problem to be solved and the RACI. This may adjust the final deliverables.
o Third Party Data Sharing:
1. Integrate Third Party Data Sharing decisions and implementation into Client processes to facilitate faster and more intentional decision-making on sharing of data with third parties. (may broaden to other types of data sharing)
1. Enhance the quality and efficiency of SAR (Subject Access Request) and ROPA (Record of Processing Activities) by tagging and enabling inventory pulls of Guest PII Data, focusing on GCP and Salesforce.
2. Embed processes for ongoing accuracy of data inventories.
2. Effectiveness Measurement:
o Design and implement KPIs and scorecard to evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of data governance practices.
o Final Deliverables:
1. Agreed upon objectives and stakeholders for metrics
2. Definition and calculation method of metrics
3. Dashboard which can be produced periodically, with as much automation as possible – Created by resource if possible, or partner with tech team to create if needed
3. Collaboration with Enterprise Architecture:
o Partner with the Enterprise Architecture team to incorporate Information Governance (IG) measurements into Application Scorecards, prioritizing actions and improvements in IG.
o Evaluate and influence Enterprise Architecture data principles in support of Information Governance Principles
o Final Deliverables:
1. List of required metrics or qualitative descriptions which represent the information governance posture within an application

o Educate within initiatives for Information Governance requirements

· Meeting and critical thinking with Information Governance in-team for requirements, direction, issues, progress
· Meeting, researching, collaborating, and critical thinking with key stakeholders in Business, Data, Privacy, Security, and Technology teams
