About the Role

As a Software Engineer – Team Lead , you’ll play a critical role in driving technical execution and team alignment. You’ll serve as the primary technical point of contact for your team—guiding architectural decisions, supporting development efforts, and helping prioritize work to meet business goals. This role balances hands-on coding with leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure your team is equipped to deliver high-quality software efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership:
• Provide clear technical direction, making final decisions on architecture and implementation as needed.
• Lead design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that align with our long-term vision.
• Partner with product managers to prioritize and plan work based on business goals.
• Drive sprint planning and backlog refinement to keep the team aligned and focused.
• Hands-on Development:
• Actively contribute to the codebase, especially in complex or high-impact areas.
• Write scalable, maintainable code in .NET, SQL, React/Type Script, and/or Laravel.
• Provide technical mentoring and support to help team members grow.
• Hold regular mentorship sessions for junior engineers (Engineer I and below).
• Facilitate team collaboration through working sessions, swarms, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Help break down silos and foster an open, communicative team culture.
• Execution & Delivery:
• Ensure the architectural vision is implemented consistently across the team.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions.
• Maintain adherence to engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines.
• Problem Solving & Support:
• Act as the go-to resource for team members when technical questions or blockers arise.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environments.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve code performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and trends to inform best practices.
