This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with principal AI architects, data scientists, and engineers to maintain a robust and secure technical foundation for clients ranging from small biotech firms to large pharmaceutical companies.
This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days per week or 12 days per month in our Atlanta office.
Required Qualifications- Ph.D. in data science, biostatistics, or related quantitative fields
- Over 3 years of experience in clinical drug development with substantial exposure to clinical trials
- Deep understanding of statistical methods such as time-to-event analysis, machine learning, meta-analysis, mixed-effect modeling, longitudinal modeling, Bayesian methods, variable selection techniques (e.g., lasso, elastic net, random forest), and clinical trial design
- Proficiency in R and Python, with demonstrated skills in data visualization, exploratory analysis, and predictive modeling
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create and deliver clear presentations for internal and external stakeholders in decision-making contexts
- Develop and implement data science methodologies for biomedical data analysis, interpretation, ingestion, and statistical analysis across disciplines
- Integrate data science and AI expertise with biological or medical knowledge to enhance drug development processes through medical writing, collaborating closely with internal SMEs and external clients
- Plan, execute, interpret, validate, and communicate exploratory analyses and algorithms to support internal decision-making
- Provide technical expertise in data science and machine learning/AI to identify opportunities influencing decision processes and contribute to discussions on white papers and regulatory policies
- Perform hands-on analysis of integrated clinical and real-world data
