Cybersecurity Senior Engineer – IAM Identity Services

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and maintain technical cyber security capabilities for the entire software development lifecycle, including threat modeling, static and dynamic application security testing, and penetration testing.
- Lead design, planning, and enhancement of enterprise security technologies, base‑lining current systems, trend analysis, and capacity planning to support future system requirements.
- Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the use of new security technologies or modifications to existing systems that provide capability, efficient operation, and effective resource utilization.
- Lead implementation of new security technologies or integration of existing technologies, including configuration, installation, change management, and operational handoff.
- Exercise analytical judgment to identify innovative solutions using models, testing, and experience.
- Provide technical support of security technologies, offering expert problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner.
- Lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and eight years of experience in systems engineering, administration, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Deep specialized and broad functional knowledge of applied enterprise information security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network operating systems, identity management, database activity monitoring, encryption, content filtering, and mainframe security.
- Previous experience leading complex IT projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or MBA and ten years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Banking or financial services experience.
- Other security certifications (e.g., CCNA Security, GSEC, GCED, GPPA).
- Other technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, RHCE, MCSE).
- Certifications in Information Security Management (e.g., CISSP, CRISC, CISM) or related security certification(s).
- Strong experience with Active Directory (On‑Premise and Entra
ID (Azure AD)). - Experience configuring Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Crowdstrike, Splunk, etc.
- Strong communications skills and ability to drive work to completion.
Requires sitting most of the time, manual keyboarding, and the ability to work standard office equipment. Availability to work all hours scheduled, including overtime, is required. Travel is minimal, up to 10%. The position is full time, 8‑hour day.
