Oracle Database Architect

Client is seeking an experienced Database Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale database solutions supporting mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle databases
, strong SQL skills
, and hands-on experience working in Azure and AWS cloud environments
.

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance database solutions.
• Lead database architecture decisions for on-prem and cloud-based systems.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Manage and maintain Oracle databases
  , including performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Implement database solutions in Azure and AWS environments.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with application teams, cloud engineers, and Dev Ops teams.
• Troubleshoot complex database performance and availability issues.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior database engineers and developers.
• Support database migration and modernization initiatives.

• 12–15 years of overall IT experience with strong focus on Database Architecture

• Extensive experience with Oracle Database (architecture, performance tuning, replication).
• Advanced SQL expertise.
• Hands-on experience in Azure cloud services related to databases.
• Experience working with AWS database services.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
• Experience with database security, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with database migration from on-prem to cloud.
• Exposure to healthcare or government domain systems.
• Knowledge of automation, CI/CD, or infrastructure-as-code concepts.
