One of the major American airlines is looking for a QA Lead to join their Hybrid team in Atlanta, GA!
This role is an exciting opportunity to lead enterprise-scale quality assurance initiatives supporting critical business and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, hands-on QA leadership, and experience managing global testing teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of complex IT solutions.
Contract Duration: 12-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion
Required Skills & Experience- 2–6 years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or related IT disciplines
- Strong understanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation
- Experience participating in system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions
- Proven ability to analyze, identify, and resolve business and technical problems using appropriate tools and methodologies
- Specialized knowledge in at least one discipline such as systems integration, cross-functional delivery, knowledge engineering, industry-specific solutions, or legacy system modernization
- Experience researching, evaluating, and implementing new technologies, tools, and standard processes
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to define alternative solutions to business problems
- Lead the entire QA effort by providing strategic and hands-on leadership across projects
- Own test planning, execution, and delivery to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality objectives
- Manage global testing services for assigned engagements, including coordination of onshore and offshore resources
- Oversee offshore delivery center resourcing strategies aligned with the QA organization’s long-term growth plan
- Ensure all testing activities adhere to established QA quality requirements, testing standards, guidelines, and methodologies
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align testing strategies with overall solution goals
- Support the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of IT solutions spanning multiple platforms and technologies
