Location

This position will be onsite at our Corporate Office in Sandy Springs, GA with opportunities to work remotely on Fridays.

What That Looks Like Day To Day
  • Develop and scale a comprehensive data science and analytics strategy that fuels our multi‑brand portfolio across both digital and retail channels, while building the infrastructure to sustain long‑term success.
  • Build, lead and align four specialized teams—Data Engineering, Data Science, Digital Analytics, and Retail Analytics—ensuring they deliver immediate insights and scalable solutions.
  • Oversee the design, build, and continuous improvement of data infrastructure, pipelines, and governance to ensure accuracy and accessibility across the organization.
  • Drive advanced analytics, predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI initiatives that unlock customer insights, fuel revenue growth, and improve operational performance across the business.
  • Partner with IT and Legal leadership to safeguard data privacy, security, and compliance across all systems, aligning enterprise data strategy with regulatory and cybersecurity standards.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs that give real‑time visibility into business performance across retail and digital commerce.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence executive decision‑making and empower teams across the organization.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to embed data and analytics into strategy, operations, and innovation at every level.
  • Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership, proactively identifying high‑value opportunities where data can unlock efficiency, growth, and customer impact.
  • Champion the adoption and governance of enterprise AI tools, including ChatGPT Enterprise, to drive efficiencies, enhance decision‑making, and unlock new ways of working across the organization.
  • Stay hands‑on with tools and technologies (SQL, Python, BI platforms, cloud data environments) to model best practices and maintain technical credibility.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop talent across disciplines, creating a culture of excellence and building a best‑in‑class data organization.
What You Bring (Experience, Knowledge & Skills)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field;
    Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, or related field preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in analytics, data science, or data engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in scaling data capabilities within an eCommerce environment.
  • Deep expertise in both business‑facing analytics (dashboards, BI, reporting, KPIs) and advanced data science (predictive modeling, ML, experimentation).
  • Technical proficiency:
    Skilled in SQL, Python or R, and Docker for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure required) and visualization tools including Tableau and Power BI.
  • Ability to manage budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments to support enterprise‑wide data initiatives.
