& Qualifications

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Excellence has three key areas of responsibility: SC Process and Technology Improvements, SC Reporting and Analytics, and SC Governance and Training. In these areas, they lead and be responsible for a team of experts, providing direction, support, and opportunities for continuous learning and growth across the Supply Chain team. They work closely with the SC leadership team, partnering Excellence functions, and the IT solution partner to ensure strong alignment and effective collaboration.

This role reports to the Vice President of Supply Chain, North America.

Responsibilities

SC Process and Technology Improvements
  • Develop digital solutions for modelling and simulations of planning scenarios
  • Implement process automation through tools like Alteryx
  • Support and guide the implementation of SAP, Quintiq and BY/TMS at Bay Minette as well as driving improvements, enhancements and change requests for existing SC applications
SC Reporting and Analytics
  • Own, govern and enhance daily, weekly and monthly reporting of SC KPIs through Power

    BI dashboards to improve timely and accurate visibility of the health of all supply chains in North America.
  • Drive advanced analytics for SC improvements in metal flow, inventory, lead times, OTIF and adherence to plan/schedule
  • Support the SC team and other business areas by providing ad hoc analysis and reports
SC Governance and Training
  • Own the SC Playbook and establish processes to regularly review and update its content
  • Govern standard processes, metrics and data for Supply Chain
  • Facilitate training and education of SC team members in collaboration with HR and the SC leadership team.
  • Own the audit processes for IATF
    16949, MMOG/LE and internal audits.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, or similar subject areas with exposure to supply chain management through experience and/or course work
  • Master’s degree in relevant field preferred
  • 10+ years related experience in large manufacturing company, similar industry is preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to transform data into business impact and decision
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills; ability to connect with all levels in the organization
  • Desire to take initiative and inspire change in the organization through follow-up, understanding their needs and encouraging a collaborative relationship
  • Excellent understanding of the complexity of an inter-connected manufacturing network, its constraints and business environment
  • Must be flexible and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership skills to direct, lead and develop team members to accomplish objectives
  • Solid understanding of planning optimization models and tools required as well as in advanced analytics tools and data visualization tools.
