SAP MDG Functional Consultant

• Experience working with SAP MDG Material, Business Partner, Supplier master data objects
• Lead key data management and governance principles of SAP S/4
  
  HANA MDG architecture, functionality, and configuration
• Lead SAP MDG configuration and business mapping in Data Modelling, UI Modelling, Process Modelling, Governance Process, Mass Processing, DRF, DIF and Data Quality
• Lead cross functional team on functional and technical knowledge in Material Master
• Hands on experience with implementation of UI configurations
• Manage MDG to S4 Replication configuration and setup
• Design and optimize End to End SAP Core Master Data Governance
• Design, implementation, and deployment of MDG Master Data solutions
• Functional specification write-up for shared development/configuration team
• Oversight of MDG development process end to end, following established change control process (opportunities to enhance, standardize and improve system and processes)
• Implement & unit test MDG configuration
• Augment & collaborate across all manager's functions (Overall system design, Configuration, Governance, best practices, data quality etc)
• Ability to plan, track and facilitate completion of data conversion tasks for data extraction, transformation and loading
• Functional expertise in S4 HANA Customer, Vendor and Material Master data structures. Familiarity with other S4 HANA master data data structures
• Track and manage open issues, defects and defect resolution for any issues encountered for data conversions
• Experience using SAP BODS and Migration cockpit for data conversion
• Performing large scale data migration of legacy system and relational data, including identifying and analyzing source data, transforming source data into the required format, loading the transformed data into the target system, and validating all source data is tracked and transformed
• Use SAP BPDS tool for use of Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) tools.
