Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

• Selecting or Identifying Areas/Test cases for Automation.
• Proficiency with Tricentis Tosca, including experience with modules, test cases, and test design.
• Experience with model-based testing concepts.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
• Create test case templates, modules, and libraries within the Tosca framework.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working with developers to resolve them.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and improve software quality.
• Integrate Tosca with CI/CD pipelines and other development tools like Jenkins.
• Understand the fundamentals of Kubernetes and how to test applications deployed on AWS’s managed Kubernetes service.
• Monitor test execution and report on test results.
• Participate in test planning and strategy sessions.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and processes.
• Knowledge of Dev Ops practices.
• Experience with API testing and SQL is often required.
• Experience with Agile and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Interacting with client to solve issues and update status.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 a year
