Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of software engineers.
  • Oversee the design, development and deployment of software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices in software development and coding standards.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
  • 10+ years of hands‑on professional experience in information technology, preferred managing development teams.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar.
  • Proficiency with UI technologies and frameworks such as NodeJS, Angular, Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Experience in Customer Engagement and Communication using Salesforce.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud computing platform.
  • Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex software projects.
  • Candidate must be solutions oriented using rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, probing all sources for answers.
  • The candidate must have excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
  • Self‑learner with the ability to learn new technologies and provide tangible results.
  • Highly adaptable, a driver of change, and capable of quickly rallying teams/peer groups.

  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is preferred.
  • Experience working in an airline technology environment is preferred.
  • Preferred AWS Solutions Architect Certification.
  • Preferred AEM Certification.
