Automation Tester

The Automation Tester will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web and API applications.

This role involves enhancing automation frameworks, integrating automated testing into CI/CD workflows, performing various levels of testing, and collaborating closely with development and QA teams to ensure product quality.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with automation tools, scripting languages, and Agile environments.

• Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts for web and API-based applications.
• Build, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Git Lab CI.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate application quality.
• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in requirement reviews, test planning sessions, and Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Ensure reusability, maintainability, and comprehensive coverage of automated test scripts.
• Mentor junior testers and promote QA best practices across the team.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
• At least 4+ years of hands‑on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG.
• 4+ years of experience with API testing tools such as Rest Assured or Postman.
• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) with 4+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years of experience using version control systems such as Git.
• 3+ years of experience performing database testing using SQL.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Ability to travel as required (up to 3 days per week).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or mobile automation using Appium.

• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification (preferred).
