Akkodis is seeking a Dev Ops Engineer who enjoys building automated systems, streamlining development workflows, and supporting modern containerized infrastructure. This role focuses on improving engineering efficiency, enabling rapid and reliable delivery, and championing Dev Ops best practices across the organization.
You'll help design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, implement infrastructure‑as‑code, and support the platforms and tools that power the engineering lifecycle. You’ll also collaborate closely with developers, security teams, and operations to enhance reliability, consistency, and automation across environments.
This is a direct hire position offering a remote‑first schedule, requiring only 1–2 onsite days per month once ramped up into the team. Candidates must live within a commutable distance (~1 hour) of Metro Atlanta.
Pay Range: $90,000-$120,000 annually + Benefits
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $ per year
Qualifications- 2–4+ years of experience in Dev Ops, infrastructure engineering, or a closely related field.
- Hands‑on experience building or managing CI/CD pipelines and modern Dev Ops tool chains.
- Strong familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or comparable containerization technologies.
- Experience with hybrid, on‑premise, or multi‑cloud networking and infrastructure (preferred).
- Comfortable working with tools and processes supporting languages such as Type Script, Python, Java & Go.
- Proficient with Linux administration, system troubleshooting, and networking fundamentals.
- Self‑motivated, curious, and proactive in identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to perform occasional onsite work in Atlanta to support hardware or infrastructure needs.
- U.S. citizenship required due to system access requirements.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Architect and manage infrastructure, tooling, and development platforms using an “infrastructure as code” mindset.
- Serve as a technical resource for engineering teams, offering guidance on Dev Ops processes, pipeline usage, containerization, and infrastructure.
- Support Kubernetes, Docker, and related technologies for container orchestration and deployment automation.
- Implement solutions for artifact management, automated testing, security compliance, and development workflow optimization.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline feedback loops and expand self‑service tooling.
- Monitor and assess system performance, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Research new Dev Ops tools, patterns, and industry practices; share insights to continually advance the internal Dev Ops ecosystem.
- Reduce manual tasks through scripting and automation, improving reliability and developer productivity.
