** Job Description**## ## We are seeking an exceptional Analytics Engineer & SQL Guru who combines deep technical mastery with analytical thinking. You will design and optimize data systems that not only answer business questions — but produce actionable insights no one thought to ask. This role blends hands-on SQL and data modeling with storytelling and decision influence. You’ll transform raw data into clarity, uncover patterns hidden in plain sight, and help shape critical business strategies through insight.##

## The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.## ## ##
** Basic Qualifications*** ## Master's degree in data and technology management, or equivalent work experience* ## Ten or more years of experience in data management and business intelligence in the financial services industry## ##
** Preferred Skills/Experience*** ## Outstanding data analysis and critical-thinking skills — ability to find the “story in the data”* ## Analytics & business alignment converts fuzzy questions into precise, production-ready SQL metrics (clear grain/filters/denominators); builds time-series analyses (sessionization, cohorts, funnels, retention) and point-in-time SCD lookups that match business definitions.* ## Expert-level SQL Craft (Oracle preferred) with proven experience in - complex querying, query tuning and performance optimization* ## Strong data modeling and data architecture expertise (conceptual, logical, physical models)* ## Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data validation)* ## Ability to answer questions that haven’t been asked — proactive insight generation* ## Excellent communication skills — can translate analytical findings into compelling narratives* ## Strong organizational and analytical skills
