Digital Marketing, Data Analyst
Job Summary
Responsible for analytics tracking & reporting, online asset tagging, and UX pathing analysis. Manage web analytic tools and reporting, and provide optimization suggestions to drive business growth. Collaborate regularly with Strategic Marketing, Client and Project Managers, and advise Traffic and Production Coordinators.
Responsibilities- Work with analytics users across the University to develop and maintain best practices for marketing, reach, and SEO; follow the latest trends in online advertising and provide user community with sound rationale to improve ROI.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define reporting requirements for the University's online properties and translate those into tracking strategies.
- Contribute to Institute Communications training and customer support materials; coordinate client projects and related administrative tasks when needed.
- Interact with development teams to provide implementation requirements for Google Analytics and other tools.
- Stay abreast of web analytics trends, tools, and best practices; lead efforts to research and evaluate new analytics tools and capabilities.
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis to answer business questions and drive decisions.
- Serve as a liaison to vendor partners to ensure project success.
- Report and analyze website performance, online experience, and engagement analytics.
- Work with management and stakeholders to identify and deliver relevant, actionable analysis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Experience:
Six to eight years of related job experience.
Preferred education:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Preferred skills:
Advanced knowledge of digital marketing; demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities, assimilate information quickly, analyze problems, and implement appropriate solutions.
Certificate or professional education in digital marketing is an advantage.
Strong analytical and organizational skills; excellent verbal and written communication; objective data analysis; and attention to detail.
