Data Staff, Inc. is currently seeking an IT Architect for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Atlanta, GA
.

* This position is hybrid; some on-site work will be required

Responsibilities
  • Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff.
  • Assists in planning, scheduling of team resources, status reporting and completion of required documentation for team assignment and projects.
  • Analyzes and develops work or project plans for team assignments.
  • Analyzes and implements solutions to problems associated with assignments.
  • Responsible for project leadership
  • Coordinates the integrated systems integrity, provides the coordination, communication and project structure between users of Information Services and third-party software vendors or programmers, provides systems and installation support and user training.
  • Develops and controls the project schedules, and assigns responsibilities where appropriate.
  • Participates in all aspects of software development, systems design and analysis and project planning and management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related specialty from an accredited college or university
  • AND Ten years of job specific experience that includes system analysis, design and development, and relationship management.
Knowledge and Experience

Software Development:

  • Understanding software development principles and methodologies is essential. Should be demonstrably able to work across multiple platforms.

Programming

Languages:

  • Proficiency in various programming languages is required for informed decision-making.
  • Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is necessary.

Databases:

  • Knowledge of database design and data modeling is crucial.

Dev Ops and CI/CD:

  • Understanding Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines is important for modern application development.

Security Principles:

  • A strong understanding of security principles is vital for designing secure applications.

Architectural Styles and Patterns:

  • Familiarity with architectural styles (e.g., microservices, monolithic, client-server) and design patterns is crucial.

Test Automation Tools:

Communication:

  • Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is vital.

Problem-solving:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and resolving issues.

Leadership:

  • The ability to lead and collaborate with development teams is important.

Adaptability and Flexibility:

  • Being able to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements is crucial.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Managing expectations and collaborating with various stakeholders is essential.

Time Management and Prioritization:

  • Effective time management skills are needed to meet deadlines and deliver quality solutions.

Teamwork:

  • Working effectively with a team is essential for successful application development.

Critical Thinking:

  • The ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions is important.
  • Staying updated with new technologies and methodologies is key to success.
Required Skills
  • 10 Years - Software Development across multiple platforms such as .NET, Java, R, etc.
  • 10 Years - Web Based Application Deployments and Debugging
  • 7 Years - Webservices Design and Development
  • 5 Years - GIT and TFS
Desired Skills
  • 7 Years - Database development with MS SQL and Oracle and knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, and T-SQL
  • 7 Years - Client-side object model (CSOM) and (JSOM) for SharePoint Server 2013/2019/SharePoint Online
  • 5 Years - Integrating Web Application with Azure AD and Azure B2C
