The GO Implementation Strategy team focuses on building, optimizing, and scaling deployment approaches, tooling, and automation so that Workday deployments are repeatable, high quality, and insight‑driven across our ecosystem.
This role is a primary driver of the end‑to‑end approach, tooling, and content for specific Workday functional work streams within a GO deployment. You will define how Workday should be deployed for your domain, shaping the workflows, configurations, automation and tooling that delivery teams and partners use every day.
You are responsible for continuously leveraging deployment tool enhancements, optimizing pre‑configured content, and driving the creation of AI‑enabled automation and workflows based on performance data and feedback from delivery teams. You will translate delivery learnings, escalations, and patterns into concrete improvements in our automated approach, ensuring that deployments have the tools, guidance, and workflows needed to be successful.
As a Principal Product Advisor, you lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives with a high degree of autonomy, partner closely with senior stakeholders across Product, Services, and Sales, and act as a key subject matter expert for your area.
About You Basic Qualifications- Demonstrable domain expertise in enterprise software applications, specifically Workday applications in at least one major functional area (e.g., Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking).
- 5+ years deploying, supporting, or advising on Workday in one or more functional areas (for example: Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll, Financials, or related domains).
- Significant experience leading functional or technical work streams on complex SaaS implementations, with accountability for design decisions, timelines, and outcomes.
- Strong hands‑on experience with implementation tools, data and integration concepts, or workflow automation (such as ETL tooling, integrations, reporting, scripting, or low‑code/no‑code automation platforms).
- Is adaptable and can adjust to changing circumstances and evolving product and deployment strategies.
