This role sits at the heart of portfolio performance, servicing strategy, and customer experience optimisation. It offers the opportunity to lead high‑impact analytics initiatives while shaping strategy across operations, risk, and technology.
The RoleThe Senior Manager, Portfolio Analytics and Strategy will lead advanced analytics and strategic initiatives across servicing and portfolio management. You will manage a team of analysts and work closely with senior stakeholders across Operations, Risk, Finance, Legal, and Technology.
This role blends hands‑on analytical leadership with strategic influence and is well suited to an experienced analytics leader who enjoys operating at the intersection of data science, business strategy, and customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead analytics initiatives to monitor portfolio performance and optimise servicing and loss strategies
- Design and refine portfolio segmentation, customer contact strategies, and channel optimisation
- Manage and develop a high‑performing analytics team, providing coaching and long‑term development
- Design and execute champion and challenger strategies to improve customer experience and financial outcomes
- Partner cross‑functionally to develop and implement servicing, treatment, and portfolio strategies
- Guide the development and deployment of machine learning models across customer treatment, valuation, and loss mitigation
- Identify opportunities to apply automation, AI, and emerging technologies to modernise operations
- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to senior leadership through dashboards and presentations
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business discipline, with an advanced degree preferred
- Five or more years of experience in analytics or strategy, including at least two years in a people management role
- Strong background in portfolio analytics, servicing, or collections within a regulated environment
- Experience building and deploying data science models in production settings
- Strong Python and SQL skills with experience working in cloud‑based environments
- Ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear business recommendations
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in ambiguous environments
