Job Summary

Job Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is required
  • A master’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is preferred
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with data and analytics; with progressively increased level of responsibility
  • Experience querying data from various data sources
  • Proficient with one or more programming languages used for analytics, preferably Python and SQL
  • Experience with Databricks is desired, but not required
  • Working knowledge of predictive modeling techniques, such as linear regression, decision trees, clustering, neutral networks, etc. and experience using these methods to address real-world business challenges
  • Strong interest in AI and aptitude to learn how to develop AI solutions for Customer Experience organization
  • Experience developing dashboards in Power BI or a comparable visualization platform
  • Written communication skills and experience summarizing key insights in concise emails, executive summaries, and presentations
  • Verbal communication skills and experience effectively presenting analytics insights in practical terms to non-technical business audience
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively collaborate in highly cross-functional work environment, engage diverse stakeholders, ask questions to understand client needs, and partner with colleagues across different teams

Job Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with internal clients to understand their goals, processes, and challenges
  • Promptly respond to requests from internal clients, understand their business questions, and perform analytics to meet their business needs
  • Fulfil high volume of ad-hoc analytics requests
  • Proactively suggest advanced analytics solutions to clients
  • Write programs to pull data from various data sources
  • Identify, gather, and prepare data for your projects
  • Analyze structured (quantitative) and unstructured (text, voice recordings) data
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models
  • Create dashboards that automatically pull data from various data sources
  • Summarize key insights from your analytics projects and provide conclusions and recommendations
  • Produce analytics to enhance customer experience, improve energy affordability, and support sustainable growth
  • Quantify effect of various programs and initiatives on customer energy usage, call volume, payment behaviors
  • Provide insights on how our customers interact with our company across various channels in effort to improve customer service performance, optimize channels and programs
  • Enable personalization and communications based on customer data
  • Provide analytics to increase enrollment in energy efficiency, renewables, electric transportation, and other programs.
  • Develop analytics to help grow unregulated net income
  • Provide analytics to optimize operations that deliver regulated and unregulated solutions to customers
  • Establish external and internal relationships to share best practices in data science, stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Continuously learn new data sources, new platforms, and new methods.
