Lead a team of data engineers and analysts responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise data platforms. You'll ensure operational stability of our data systems while driving innovation and aligning technology solutions with business needs. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on technical oversight to deliver impactful data solutions.

• Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development guidance.
• Oversee data platform development and support activities, ensuring timely resolution of issues in accordance with governance and security standards.
• Manage multiple concurrent data initiatives including work plans, resource allocation, status reporting, and budget oversight.
• Partner with offshore development teams to maximize productivity and deliver quality solutions.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across business functions to identify needs and resolve data challenges.
• Drive operational excellence by reviewing processes and implementing improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership to align data platform resources to strategic projects and priorities.
• Analyze complex issues, recommend solutions, and provide tactical direction to your team.
• Coordinate vendor management, change management, and release activities.
• Communicate technical concepts and project status effectively to technical teams, peers, management, and business users.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing data platform development and operations.
• Strong people leadership experience with proven ability to build and develop high‑performing teams.
• Demonstrated experience with Snowflake, Tableau, and ETL pipeline development.
• Experience working with and managing offshore development partners.
• Strong background in development frameworks and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with vendor management and coordinating change/release processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

• Advanced degree in a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in data platforms or cloud technologies.
• Experience in retail or distribution industries.
• Professional office setting with occasional travel (less than 10%).
