Manhattan Active Architect – Warehouse Management Consultant

The role is part of Cognizant’s Supply Chain practice, leading client‑facing design and implementation of Manhattan Associates warehouse management solutions.

The successful candidate will bridge the gap between warehouse operations and system functionality, guiding clients through complex WMS deployments that drive performance in retail, ecommerce, and wholesale environments.

• Take ownership of the system/product from a solution perspective.
• Understand and translate business requirements into clear solution specifications.
• Plan and design the structure of a technology solution.
• Communicate system requirements to software development teams.
• Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and propose integration methods.
• Oversee assigned programs, including conducting code reviews and providing guidance to team members.
• Assist with resolving technical problems as they arise.

• Required travel to client sites.
• Work arrangements may vary by project and client needs;
  Cognizant will clearly communicate expectations.

• 15+ years overall Manhattan warehouse management implementation experience.
• 3+ years with MA WM Active (version).
• Led at least one, preferably two, end‑to‑end WM Active implementations as a Solution Architect.
• Able to review, approve or recommend designs.
• Advises on implementation process, timeline, roles, responsibilities, and best practices.
• Experience with multiple MA WMOS implementations.
• Knowledge of SCI reporting, proactive coding, MHE integrations, etc.

• Annual salary: $110,000 – $135,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
