Lead Data Analyst
Location:
Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Only local Key Responsibilities
- Lead data analytics efforts across CRM, CDP, and personalization programs, supporting segmentation, targeting, lifecycle marketing, and campaign strategies.
- Analyze and resolve data quality issues in Amperity, Acxiom, and other platforms, ensuring accurate customer profiles and campaign execution.
- Design and implement modular, reusable code and DAGs (Directed Acyclic Graphs) for scalable data workflows and pipelines.
- Develop measurement frameworks to assess marketing effectiveness across channels (email, paid media, site personalization, etc.).
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using GCP-native solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineering, marketing, and product teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Lead technical conversations with directors and above, bringing a strategic perspective and influencing data-driven decisions.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in data analytics, mentoring junior analysts and driving best practices in data governance, storytelling, and campaign measurement.
- Apply agentic AI techniques to extract insights and drive automation and intelligence in marketing and personalization workflows.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a lead or SME role.
- Strong retail industry experience and understanding of customer behavior, merchandising, and omnichannel strategies.
- Hands-on experience with MDM, GCP (Big Query, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, Looker), and big data technologies.
- Experience with customer data platforms such as Amperity, Acxiom, or similar.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and modular code development for analytics workflows.
- Deep understanding of CRM data structures, personalization logic, campaign execution, and marketing measurement techniques.
- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from day one.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to senior stakeholders.
- Experience with agentic AI or similar frameworks for data-driven insight generation is a plus.
