Senior ServiceNow Developer

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and implement Service Now solutions, including customizations and integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
• Customize and configure Service Now applications, modules, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the Service Now platform.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and user guides.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s technical growth.
• Stay updated on the latest Service Now features and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and actively participate in design discussions.
• Perform Service Mapping, Client, and Event Management configurations to improve IT operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5+ years of hands-on experience with Service Now development and administration.
• Proficiency in Service Now APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes, including workflows and automation.
• Proven experience with Service Now modules such as ITSM(IT Service Management), CSM(Customer service management also called PSDS), HAM (Hardware asset management).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Service Now Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
