This role is a Data Analytics Analyst position for an 11‑month contract, located in Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid work schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote). The pay rate is $65–$70 per hour.

    Support the Enterprise Decision Support and Data Governance (EDGE) organization as a Data Analytics Analyst. Work with business and technology stakeholders to review functional and non‑functional requirements, design and develop analytics reporting solutions, and translate requirements into actionable insights.

    Job Responsibilities
    • Provide functional and technical expertise in the use of ERP platforms, ETL, and database sources.
    • Develop reporting solutions using SQL, Excel, Power BI and other standard end reporting tools.
    • Translate functional requirements into deliverables that provide actionable insights and support strategy development.
    • Identify appropriate data sources and map specifications, validate completeness and data accuracy, and produce appropriate visualizations.
    • Collaborate with technical team members to create and maintain a data catalog owned and maintained by the EDGE organization.
    • Assist with testing, training and operation of data solutions.
    • Maintain the EDGE reporting database and other routine extracts and databases.
    • Communicate data‑supported insights and KPI tracking through advanced data visualization and interactive dashboards.
    • Serve as a change agent and champion safety initiatives for the work team.
    Job Requirements
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field (advanced degree is a plus).
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in data management, extraction, report creation and/or strategic data governance.
    • Intermediate to advanced experience in SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and other reporting tools.
    • Intermediate to advanced experience in programming languages R and Python.
    • Intermediate to advanced experience with FME and Esri (ArcGIS Pro and Model Builder).
    • Working knowledge of Data Science concepts and Machine Learning.
    • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in data mining, query writing and visualization.
    • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel functionalities (VLOOKUP, Pivot). Applications within MS Office Suite.
    • Proficiency in Maximo, Oracle, and other ERP systems.
    • Advanced data visualization proficiency with Power BI and MS PowerPoint.
    • Experience working cross‑functionally in a highly matrixed organization.
    • Executive‑level presentation skills and effective verbal/written communication of complex analytical concepts.
    • General knowledge of the natural gas/utilities industry (plus).

    • Ability to inform and influence stakeholders based on findings.
    • Collaborative with multiple business functions.
    • Intermediate level of skills in strategy development, execution, project management, relationship building, communication, presentation, team building, cultural awareness, and change management.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
    Job Type / Compensation

    Contract – 11‑month duration, $65–$70 per hour (minimum 40 hours per week). Pay is competitive for contract work.

    Hybrid work schedule: bound to office Monday‑Thursday, 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
