We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support and evolve a complex enterprise network environment. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong core networking fundamentals, deep hands‑on experience across Cisco and Palo Alto technologies, and solid exposure to Microsoft Azure networking within a hybrid infrastructure.

The successful candidate will play a key role in design, implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of on‑prem and cloud‑connected networks, working closely with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams.

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex network issues, focusing on root cause analysis and long‑term fixes
• Maintain and optimize Cisco‑based networks, including Nexus switching and Meraki wireless environments
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, including policies, NAT, VPNs, and security best practices
• VPN and Express Route connectivity
• Network security groups (NSGs) and firewall integrations
• Partner with cloud, security, and systems teams on network architecture and modernization initiatives
• Assist with network refreshes, migrations, and capacity planning
• Contribute to documentation, standards, and operational best practices

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering
• Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, and DNS
• Hands‑on experience with:
  Cisco routing and switching, including Nexus platforms;
  Cisco Meraki wireless and switching;
  Palo Alto firewalls (PAN‑OS, security policies, VPNs);
  Solid experience with Microsoft Azure networking in a hybrid environment;
  Experience integrating on‑prem networks with cloud infrastructure;
  Strong troubleshooting and communication skills;
  Ability to work in a hybrid onsite/remote model in the Atlanta area

• Experience with Azure Express Route
• Familiarity with network automation or infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, ARM, etc.)
• Exposure to monitoring tools (Solar Winds, PRTG, Thousand Eyes, etc.)
• Certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, or Azure Network Engineer Associate
