- Design, develop, and implement Service Now solutions, including customizations and integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
- Customize and configure Service Now applications, modules, and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the Service Now platform.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and user guides.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s technical growth.
- Stay updated on the latest Service Now features and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and actively participate in design discussions.
- Perform Service Mapping, Discovery, and Event Management configurations to improve IT operations.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Service Now development and administration.
- Proficiency in Service Now APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong understanding of ITSM and ITOM processes, including workflows and automation.
- Proven experience with Service Now modules such as ITSM (IT Service Management), CSM (Customer service management also called PSDS), HAM (Hardware asset management).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Service Now Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Service Now platform expertise (development, configuration, integration).
- JavaScript and scripting knowledge.
- API integration (REST/SOAP web services).
- ITSM and ITOM process optimization.
- ITSM, CSM, HAM experience.
- Agile/Scrum project delivery.
- Technical documentation and system design.
- Troubleshooting and analytical thinking.
