• Manage and deliver one or more data architecture processes, solutions, or projects with a focus on quality and risk management.
• Lead continuous process improvement and identify innovative solutions through research, analysis, and best practices.
• Guide and supervise professional employees or team members on complex technical initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients, stakeholders, and both technical and non‑technical project teams.
• Design and present data architecture solutions, leading workshops and design sessions with clients, cross‑functional partners, and internal teams.
• Provide assurance to leadership by managing timelines, costs, and quality, and propose solutions to technical constraints using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Win new business for EY by leveraging deep industry knowledge and technical expertise.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements, design solutions, and implement data strategies.
• Organize and lead workshops and design sessions with stakeholders.
• Lead the design and implementation of modern data architectures supporting transactional, operational, analytical, and AI solutions.
• Direct and mentor global data architecture and engineering teams, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Establish data governance policies, data security, quality, and lifecycle management.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovations.

• A Bachelor’s degree required in STEM.
• 8+ years professional consulting experience in industry or technology consulting.
• 8+ years hands‑on experience in architecting, designing, delivering, or optimizing data lake solutions.
• 3+ years’ experience with native cloud products such as Azure or GCP.
• 5+ years of experience mentoring and leading teams of data architects and engineers.
• In‑depth knowledge of data architecture principles, best practices, data modelling, data warehousing, data lakes, and data integration.
• Experience leading large data engineering teams and building platforms with complex architectures and diverse features.
• Hands‑on experience designing end‑to‑end architectures and pipelines that deliver data efficiently.
• Proficiency in data modelling techniques and architectural design patterns (Data Fabrics, Data Mesh, Lake Houses, Delta Lakes).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for data workloads.
• Experience with version control (Git) and Dev Ops practices for automating data engineering workflows (Data Ops).
• Practical understanding of data encryption, access control, and security best practices.
• Experience leading infrastructure and security engineering teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
