• Provide expertise and support for installation and upgrades of Oracle Database / OFM upgrade / patches
• Participate and provide expertise and support to Banner XE upgrade efforts
• Participate and provide expertise in OS upgrades (RHEL, WIN) upgrade / patches or configuration changes
• Support and provide expertise related to Banner enterprise system Security activities
• Participate and provide expertise in database cloning procedures
• Support and provide expertise related coordination of space management with DBAs and System Engineers: VM / Backups / SAN / DR

• Experience with System Administration 3yrs+
• Experience with Automic/UC4/App Worx
• Generate and maintain system specific reports
• Database Support and developer Experience 5+yrs
• Oracle/SQL Server
• MySQL
• Experience with Banner Systems 5yrs+
• Current knowledge and experience with Oracle Developer Suite (SQL Developer), PL/SQL, Automic/UC4, ODS
• Experience with Grid Control, etc. (ex: security reporting, server performance, etc.) or appropriate tools
• Understanding of Production environment support and Business Continuity
• Understanding of Disaster and recovery process
• Understanding of Web Services; experience with Banner XE preferred.
• Understanding of complex ERP environment.
• Impact of ERP elements and respective integrations on system downtime, etc.
• Understanding infrastructure requirements and space planning for optimal performance;
• Ability to make recommendations and coordinate planning
• System Integration – ability to evaluate vendor technical specifications and compatibility with existing system
• Security – understanding of network, data and system security
• Tracking History of system upgrade, patches of supported products
• Coordination of system upgrades, patches and cloning of supported products
• Quarterly scheduled patches and clones
• Recommendations on industry best practices
