GL - Technology Lead

Job Description

Contribute in requirements elicitation, creation of application architecture document and creation of design artifacts; deliver high quality codes, support activities related to implementation and transition; interface with internal team and key stakeholders; analyze and resolve issues to ensure high quality deliverables at each stage of SDLC within the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys.

• Application design, development and implementation on Progress/Open Edge applications
• PROGRESS 4GL
• PROGRESS App Server
• PROGRESS Database design and performance
• Experience in UNIX
• Experience in leading technical projects and Development team
• Experience in working with geographically diverse team and coordinating with developers at diverse locations
• Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical background and willing to learn new tools and technologies
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Required

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• At least 10 years of experience in the job description below.

Preferred

• Domain knowledge in Insurance, specifically in Life insurance and Annuities
• Prior experience with customizing Policy Administration System (PAS)
• Customer facing
