This role provides cross-functional leadership to guide and streamline technical delivery across Security Enterprise Technology programs and environment. In partnership with the leaders and our multi-disciplined teams, this role will monitor, measure, and enhance program execution, as well as develop strategies to meet agreed-upon business needs.
The Staff Program Manager will own and advance several multi-year, multi-team goals, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and strategic objectives. They will manage the successful delivery of complex, multi-phase programs, focusing on clarity and efficiency by removing ambiguity and refining execution strategies. Through innovative approaches and expertise in both IT and Security, the Staff Program Manager will address open-ended challenges, carefully defining both the scope and methodologies to achieve impactful results.
This role is pivotal in driving Security Enterprise Technology toward measurable outcomes, enabling sustainable growth and alignment with long-term organizational goals.

As the Enterprise IT Staff Program Manager, you will:
- Collaborate with Security Enterprise Technology (SET) leaders, engineers, and Fan Duel customers to co-develop a program roadmap and lead products and features from concept to launch, translating objectives into actionable strategies.
- Define the vision and strategy for delivering complex, large business-impacting programs with multiple constraints
- Demonstrate a depth of knowledge in program delivery for IT and Security. Understanding both IT and Security engineering practices, identify technical risks, and ask the right questions to support well-informed trade-offs. They should possess sufficient technical knowledge and familiarity with engineering practices/execution, technical architecture, and security scope for managing vulnerabilities, policies etc. to enable reason and communicate effectively across all functions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, SET leadership and team to establish priorities, identify organization-wide opportunities, and define metrics to measure impact.
- Lead by influence rather than authority, building trust and fostering a culture of openness and transparency to increase program success.
- Anticipate long-term consequences and make informed decisions for SET programs, including reprioritizing, adjusting, or recommending termination of programs based on new information.
- Handle program operations, scope, and change management while tracking progress through appropriate metrics to meet evolving requirements
- Leads and fosters an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
- Creates and owns a complex program of multiple portfolios and leads a team to execute all software development lifecycle (SDLC) facets of the program.
- Develop, owns, and executes program roadmap together with SET leadership teams
- Guide a team to help transform requirements into well-defined program including features, initiatives and acceptance test criteria. Work with executive level staff to prioritize and maintain the program backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders, and delivery throughput for the vertical manager and engineering team.
- Lead the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
- Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting for program progress and performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.
- Possess comprehensive understanding of program management tools such as JIRA and Confluence, and knowledge of software development life cycle (SLDC).
