This MDM Architect position provides a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s master data strategy, ensuring high data quality, and driving business success through effective data management practices. The team member is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) solutions that ensure consistent, accurate, and reliable master data across the organization.

This role involves developing MDM strategies, defining data governance practices, and collaborating with various stakeholders to align MDM initiatives with business objectives. The MDM Architect will leverage their expertise in data architecture and modeling to create a scalable and efficient MDM framework.

• MDM Strategy Development:
  Define and implement the overall MDM strategy, aligning it with business goals and ensuring it supports effective data governance and management practices.
• Architecture Design:
  Design the MDM architecture, including data models, integration processes, and data quality frameworks, to facilitate seamless data flow and accessibility across systems.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with data stewards, business analysts, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure that MDM solutions meet the needs of the organization.
• Data Governance:
  Establish data governance policies and standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in data management.
• Technology Evaluation:
  Assess and recommend MDM tools and technologies, overseeing their implementation and integration with existing systems.
• Performance Optimization:
  Monitor and optimize the performance of MDM solutions, addressing issues and implementing enhancements to improve data quality and accessibility.
• Documentation and Training:
  Maintain comprehensive documentation of MDM architecture, processes, and policies, while also providing training and support to teams involved in MDM initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, presenting MDM concepts and solutions in a clear and understandable manner.

• Education:
  
  Relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• Experience:
  
  8+ years of experience in data management, with a focus on Master Data Management architecture and implementation.

• Data Architecture:
  Strong understanding of data modeling techniques, data governance frameworks, and data quality management practices. Expertise in building data models and pipelines, including architectural diagrams, architectural decision records, technical specifications, Platform as a Service ("PaaS") development, microservices, data fabric and distributed data mesh patterns, open data lakehouse architecture, etc.

  Experience with MDM tools such as Informatica MDM, Profisee, Reltio, or similar platforms; experience with data integration tools and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).

  Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive MDM initiatives, demonstrating strong project management skills.
