Senior Product Designer

Optomi in partnership with a leading Financial Services organization that is building sophisticated, user‑focused technology to elevate the client experience. They are heavily investing in innovative digital tools and seeking a Senior Product Designer to help drive the next evolution of their ecosystem.

The Senior Product Designer will partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to frame user problems, identify business opportunities, and deliver innovative solutions. This role requires a designer who can combine strategic thinking, hands‑on design, and mentorship to elevate the quality of the team’s design output and impact on the business.

• Apply a broad user experience skill set, with deep expertise in at least two areas such as UI Design, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, User Research, or Front‑End Development
• Lead UX strategy initiatives and influence product decisions with a focus on customer impact
• Design for customer needs, scenarios, task flows, and goals
• Prototype and design solutions at any fidelity, emphasizing collaboration over documentation
• Navigate product and team transformations and adapt to evolving requirements
• Mentor and guide other designers on design best practices and processes
• Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and feedback sessions
• Contribute to the development and maturation of the design language and design systems
• Conduct research, validate design decisions, and iterate based on findings

• 7+ years of experience designing for software products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product design, problem‑solving, and iteration
• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative user research
• Proficiency with design and collaboration tools including Figma, Jira, Airtable, and Miro

• High visual/UI craftsmanship
• Experience with Design Systems
• Experience in the Financial Services/ Banking industry
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, React, LLMs, User Testing or similar tools
