Summary

Our client is a leading IT Solutions Company located in Atlanta, GA, seeking a Level III Technician proficient in networking. The ideal candidate will have proven technical experience and excellent communication skills. You should enjoy building solutions that leverage technology to meet clients' business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales to provide pre- and post-sales support, including discovery meetings, site visits, proposals, presentations, technical assessments, implementation, and ongoing account management.
  • Deploy and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory.
  • Design Local Area Networks.
  • Implement and monitor network security.
  • Optimize and maintain network hardware and software.
  • Build and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions.
  • Configure and deploy VOIP solutions.
  • Troubleshoot network infrastructure issues.
  • Manage Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Support telephone solutions.
  • Monitor alert systems and respond appropriately per guidelines.
  • Use event logs to identify and resolve issues.
  • Handle escalated service requests requiring advanced response.
  • Assist with new user onboarding.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange Server, and Active Directory.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing environment such as sales engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable engaging with clients to understand their technical and business issues.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience writing proposals and implementing technical solutions to meet business needs.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a team player.
  • Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
  • Experience with RMM (remote monitoring and management) tools is a plus.
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively, provide exceptional customer service, and multi-task efficiently.
  • Sales training experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in an MSP environment is highly advantageous.

Ideal Qualifications (not required)

  • CompTIA Net+ and/or Security+
  • MCSA, MCSE, MCITP certifications.
  • CCNA or CCIE certifications are a significant plus.
